Here we are in our last week of the semester! I know this is a busy time for you all, so I will get to the calendar quickly. In your notebook, fill up on whole page reflecting on the things we've done in this class that have been aimed at fulfilling the Course Outcomes. Then write for 5 minutes on how well you have fulfilled those outcomes in your own work. Wednesday, April 25: In Class: zine workshop; turn in notebooks; how to make 2 sided copies on Foley printer/scanner HW: Blog #12, posted to blog before your class' final, see below for prompt HW: Work on your zine Friday, April 29: In Class: We are not meeting for class! (Remember that the password is something affirmative).
After you've revisited the reading, paying special attention to the different types of opinions and the ways we can support our opinions, write an argumentative blog that is engaging and original. It doesn't have to be about something we've talked about in English class, but it should be about something you learned/experienced this semester at Gonzaga. At the end of the essay, write a short reflection explaining why the subject matter you wrote about is orginal and the way you wrote about it is engaging. you can refer back to "What are Opinions" and explain what type of opinion you wrote about and what type of support your provided. due: Monday, April 25th by class time tags: "Blog 11 Engage", "your name" Hey all!
