Monday, March 28th:
In Class: No Class-Easter Monday
HW: Remember, you didn't have a Blog Post this last week. Instead, come to class next Wednesday with some ideas of things that are making strong presentations and things that you're hoping to do differently. If you've already presented, you can talk about what worked and what didn't work. Please spend at 10-15 solid minutes on this.
HW: Groups one and two, start thinking seriously about what you want to do for unessay #2.
Wednesday, March 30th:
In Class: Talk about forums--what is working well, how it translates to a piece of effective writing-turn in reflections; Explain Group Conferences--“Unessay” Rough Draft due two nights before conference, uploaded to Google Drive (see links to the right); Work on Punctuation Pattern Sheet if there's time.
HW: Blog Post # 10, see prompt below
Friday, April 1st:
In Class: In-class brainstorming for unessay #2 (Rhetorical Triangle Brainstorming Sheet)
HW: Forum Group Three: make sure to upload you annotated bibliography (blog #8), to class blog by 9PM on Sunday night

Blog Post #10: You now have notes on two sets of forums. Think back to the presentations you've seen. What grabbed your attention? What is something you think others would be interested in hearing/need to know. Your job is then to think about how the presenters could re-purpose the information in their presentations into a different format. Basically, pretend you are telling them what they should write their unessay on. Here is a good way to start this:
You should write about (insert topic) in (insert media) because I, as part of your audience found this compelling because of (insert reasons you found it compelling).
This is basically your thesis. Feel free to copy and paste, then fill in the blanks. The last bit is where you want to get argumentative. Then support your thesis. Why would that be a good media for the topic? Why did you find the topic compelling? Who could they write to? To help them get started, offer ideas for further research, specific areas of interest or questions about anything you were confused about/wanted to know more about.
due: posted by class time Monday, April 4.
tags: "your name"; "blog 10 forum re-purpose" and, this last one is tricky, go and check out what tag that group used when blogging about their topic.
